Personal Biography
Marvin Sabado is the Managing Director and Founder of MOS Engineers. He specializes in Civil and Structural Engineering. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in the Philippines in 2000 and he obtained his Master of Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) in Norwich University, Vermont USA in 2022. He worked for several consulting firms in Manila before relocating to the Caribbean in 2006. He has a strong professional network as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and International Association of Bridge & Structural Engineering (IABSE), which can provide opportunities for professional development and collaboration with other experts in the field. With his vast experience in designing structures for various projects, ranging from small to large scale, it is likely that he has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of different types of projects.
His decision to found MOS Engineers in 2019 may have been driven by a desire to leverage his expertise to provide high-quality civil and structural engineering services to clients in a more independent and flexible capacity. As the founder and owner of MOS Engineers, he likely has more control over the direction and focus of the company, which may allow him to further develop and apply his skills and knowledge in new and innovative ways.

In recognition of his outstanding work, He was awarded the Anton Tedesko Medal Fellowship by the International Association of Bridge & Structural Engineering (IABSE) in 2008. This prestigious fellowship allowed him to participate in a full-sponsored six-month study leave program to undergo special training in Bridge & Structural Engineering with some of the most reputable consulting firms in the world, including COWI in Denmark, ARUP in Hong Kong, and SMEDI in Shanghai, China.
